I am building exhaust for my buggy. The tube run tucked up next to the frame on the outside. It will be hard to hit but I would imagine it may take a few hits periodically. My question is should I put in a stainless flex between the main exhaust and the headers to allow additional flex? Or will it be ok if I don't and it gets hit once in a while?

I would recommend running one if you have room. Especially if you arent using V-band clamps everywhere.

the flex will happen and loose header bolts, collector bolts, etc are just a pain in the ass.
