Snow Ride in WV

Check out this old video of snow ride on the Scenic Highway in WV. During the winter months this 23 mile stretch of road is closed. The high elevation and lack of service from Department of Highways, often produces 2 ft snow pack and 3-4 drifts. This is perfect for snowmobiles and offroad vehicles. We were only slightly modified back in the day but still managed to have a great time.

Wish it would snow like that here in North AL this year! Deepest we got last year was 8" and that was the most we've had in a very long time. Wish we would have a repeat of the blizzard of '93! I love snow wheeling!

About the best snow wheeling I've ever got to do (doesn't snow as much here) was January '11 at Aetna Mtn. That's an awesome / beautiful place to wheel after a good snow.
