SOLD!!

I have a set of brand new, USA made (not cheap, imported stuff) 10 factory / Alloy USA 4340 axle shafts with brand new CTM joints for 35 spline (inner and outer) Dana 60. They are assembled and painted black to prevent rusting, but have never been installed. The axle shafts have been machined by Branik for 50 degree (extra sharp) steering, but will work fine on a normal axle too. These shafts and ujoints do come with a lifetime replacement warranty if you break them.

Dimensions are as follows (center of u-joint hole to end of shaft). These should all be OEM lengths. These are NOT custom length shafts.
long inner: 35-1/16
short inner: 16-1/4
stubs: 12-1/4

$1450 for the parts. $400 for the machining and assembly. Plus tax and shipping, and I'm into these for about $2000. I am asking $1600 for them as is. Located in Goshen, IN (46526) and yes I will ship.

Application:
First thing, these measurements are not exact. These were what my old axle shafts measured via tape measure when I ordered these. They sent me what they had that was closest based on that. These are NOT custom length shafts. For instance, the 12-1/4" measurement for the stubs is probably more like 12" on these, which is a Chevy / Dodge stub. I will double check any of the measurements as necessary. The axle shaft lengths don't need to be exact, as the amount of spline engagement into the locker / flange can vary some.

Anyway, this is what I know.....

These are labeled as a full set for 79-93 Dodge. Stubs are Chevy / Dodge, which are usually labeled as 12". Ford are 11.4". Many people have cut Chevy stubs down to Ford stub length with just a cutoff wheel on a 4.5" angle grinder (or better yet a lathe).

There is long list of shafts lengths for different applications, but here's just a few that might help....

Dodge (79-93) Shaft Lengths- 35.10"(Long)- 15.98"(Short)- 12.00"(Outers)(these)
Ford (83-91) Shaft Lengths- 36.86"(Long)- 15.98"(Short)- 11.40"(Outers)
Chevy/GM Shaft Lengths- 35.07"(Long)- 17.67"(Short)- 12.00"(Outers)

I would consider separating if nobody wants them as a set

How much on the CTM's if you separate them

I think I'm gonna keep them for my spares if they don't sell assembled.

What axle were you going to use these for? When I look at Mr. N's axle chart, I don't find these as a standard axle length. :dunno:

My apologies for not updating the original post with all the info I did on the other forums. I'll do that right now. The short answer is Dodge 60, but you'll see some other applications listed in my info as well. Thanks for asking.
