Take 19 to Hwy KK, make a left turn and go to the stop sign, then a right turn on Hwy K, then about 9 miles to Hwy ZZ in Jadwin. Make a left turn--we are down about a mile on the right. Turn left on gravel road, cross current River--road turns back to pavement. Go 3 miles, park is on the left immediately past the mobile home on the right. Careful here because there is no sign for Flat Nasty coming from that direction and if you are pulling a trailer you will probably have to drive about a mile to find a place to turn around. Sorry this is so long but don't want you to get lost coming from far away!
Sorry No bolted tires A heads-up for those coming from the south this weekend. The map services (Google and MapQuest) may take you to places that are impossible, for example, the ferry is closed on Hwy K where it crosses the current River. The 2 best ways coming from the south is Hwy 19 or Hwy B (out of Houston). Hwy 19 is a good road but very twisty. Take 19 to Hwy KK, make a left turn and go to the stop sign, then a right turn on Hwy K, then about 9 miles to Hwy ZZ in Jadwin. Make a left turn--we are down about a mile on the right. If you come Hwy B which is just north of Houston, turn right. I Raymondville stay on Hwy B which will be a right turn, continue on B until it ends at the bottom of a BIG hill (no stop sign!).
