Blew out a ring and pinion in my rear end so now its time to upgrade. What is the strongest ring and pinion out there

I have interest in this also... and I hope this isnt offtopic but I know it seemed for a bit people were getting their junk cryo-treated? Is this any good or just hype?

We're they set up right? It don't matter what brand if they ain't set up right.
Thats a fact for sure !!! ride around easy or jack it up and ride the brake to let them get run in before you take it out and gas it. Yukon or Richmond seem to be good.

Pretty hard to tear up 14b gears. What gave up? did it shuck the teeth, break the ring gear, break the pinion shaft. did it get hot (grease smells bad) get water in it? There's a reason it broke, might as well take the time to make sure everything is right so you don't have another problem. Holla if you want some help on it.

He sent me these. Had new oil in it.

Is that carrier welded? It looks like it might be warped. On the pinion, notice how thin the unbroken tooth is at it's toe and much thicker at the heel. I think this is a really, really bad setup or a warped carrier. Hard to tell without seeing them first hand.. You can easily check the carrier by removing the ring gear and putting the carrier back in the housing. Use the adjusters to remove all the end play and check the runout on the gear mounting surface with a dial indicator. More than about .010 is too much. If the carrier is OK, check all the bearings and do a really good setup, don't quit til you get a perfect pattern.

He wasn't goin easy on it at all :drinkers: was helping and  had plenty of support to cheer him on. The carrier is welded from what he told me last night after he broke it.
