I'm starting to get interested in the little things. What am I looking for? I know nothing about them just looks fun. What years are good to build? Where do you get the lifts, Gears, lockers? I like to have one of everything and I've never had a soob. Yet

Basics
get one that has the Dual range Transaxle
with stock gears its a 3.9 diff so your biggest tire will be 29" , go with 27" tires if you want to climb, if its carberated get a weber
3-6" lifts available ,
fab your own or buy one ,

if thats not good enough go 8"+ lift add a Nissan Transfercase and add another diff up front under the stock transaxle, then you can go bigger tires,
no aftermarket locker out htere have to weld up the rear or run a LSD
