Last Sunday we took a little snow run up to the Summit lakes trail head just to see how far we could get. Along with myself and my son David in the orange flatty we had Jim and sherry in the silver cj and Jacob and Brad in the black rubi. Jacob just can seem to get enough wheeling as he was on the big run at Whatcom co. the day before. The guys a wheeling machine :wcjp: We started out heading up the Carbon river road and crossing the river on the longggg bridge. headed up the 7018 from there. just befor the Y to Coplay lake we found this white stock jeep in way over his head (and alone) We got him turned around and poitet back down the hill and then went on our way taking turns busting the fresh powder. The snow at the Y was about 18" deep and by the time we got to the top at the trailhead it was about 3' to 4' deep. Had a great day with great people and seen some awsome views. Heres a few of my pics. I will post a couple of vids later and more pics when I get them from david. Im sure Jacob has a few as well. :green machine:
