I guess I'm just trying to make this difficult. But I want the bars to tie into the frame where it drops down and gets boxed in. Problem is, that would make the bars 75" long. I'm not sure that 2" square tubing would be enough. I know there is usually a rule of thumb on how long to make traction bars. I can't remember where that limit is. Will this work or should I look at other options?

Realistically it doesn't need to follow the same guideines as building one for a wheeling rig that sees full droop, compression and articulation.

no ladder bars for me.. The 4 chrome REMOTE RESERVOIR (yea that's right, I'm futuristic) at each corner are on the wish list :corn:

And yea, deflection in the bars since they have to be soooooooo damn long.

why do you need trac bars if you not going to race or sled pull....poser:D

I bounced alllllll the way to spokane and back pulling that gooseneck because of axle wrap. Some of us have real tranny's and can tow over 7k with our trucks :fawkdancesmiley:
