Toy clutch interchangeability?

I have an 80 Toyota that has a 20R. It used to have an L43 tranny and now I am putting in a L52HD tranny.

Can I use the origonal pressure plate and disk with the L52HD?

Yup direct swap. If you want an upgrade you can get a flywheel from a later model 22re (90+ if memory serves) and use its intended clutch setup.. its about 9 2/8" instad of 8 1/2" as the earlier models are.
