Re: Re: Trump for prez? Not sure why you quoted me? It's not really "Mexico" that would be upping prices, it's the companies that have plants in Mexico. I'd venture to say that only a very small percentage of mexico's exports are actually made by "Mexican" companies. Most everything owned by Mexicans is actually owned (or completely controlled) by the corrupt Mexican government. And yes, America has Mexico by the balls. Mexico was exploited to provide cheap labor and lax laws for mass production make consumer goods for the U.S. market, by U.S. and non-Mexican companies. The Mexicans didn't even seize (or have) the opportunity to build up around the massive factories, its mainly U.S. based companies that built industrial supply houses, equipment rental/service/sales, restaurants, etc. The Mexicans that actually do the line work in these factories are bussed in from the impoverished outskirts and rural areas and paid in "Mexican " wages. I'd much rather be selling the machines we build to a plant in America than a plant in Mexico (no matter who owns the actual company). And I'd much rather buy the parts made on our machines Made In USA
