I just got back from a run "up" Tonga Ridge, east of Skykomish. It was snowing like hell, but man, the snow on the ground sucks!

If I didn't keep it just above idle, I would dig or slide. I did not air down, and my tires were at 20/20 or something like that. The little amount of snow under the new snow just plain sucks. My brother (London Gentleman) can vouch that I got "stuck" twice, including once downhill! The tires just created those little ice cups as soon as they spun...

Anyway, just trying to update folks what is out there. Crap snow! About a foot at 1000' and about 16" at (guessing...) 1500'

Let's hope it dumps!

I blame the parents. What ever happened to the good ol' days when snow did what it was told and didn't talk back? That snow needs some discipline.

/air down next time.

He's got MT/R's, they need not to be aired down. But on a serious note, he didn't want to drive back on the highway aired down and the snow did suck.

I'll be at Pilchuck this weekend, about 3500ish feet, hopefully it's good there.

About the same as Evan's Creek...anyone been up there since last weekends ICE festival? Watching the weather forecast this week you'd thougth there was FEET, not inches :eeek:
