Hmmm, Now I dont know what to do. I dont think I will use this thing as much as you guys do. Maybe a few times a year ( I know that doesnt vouch going "offshore brand") but what about verticle vs laydown mount? If I dont use it much do I need that HUGE winch hanging off my bumper? I would have to re-work my bumper almost 100% because I built it around a lay down style and didnt intend on running my verticle. (Laydown is roughly 6" deep X 6" high and the verticle is 9" deep by 16" high!!!) I also have another option, I COULD go smitty built on the front of this truck (as it isnt getting used much and I just noticed this "extreme" waranty) and keep my 8274 for my wheeler I build next year as I would never want to purchase that thing and it "seems" to be an all out favorite)? Although everyone wants me to solid axle this rig, I would rather buy one I dont give a **** about to beat the piss out of, theres nothing more that would piss me off is listening to some winey guy bitching about body damage in the woods. Play the game or dont play. Dont get me wrong, I will wheel/cross country/ camp/ adventure in this rig as it is very street capable and I dont care about the paint, so it still spends 40% of its life offroad. (I just cant wait to get long travel suspension!). Thats where im torn even wasting $ on somthing I wont trust everytime. How will an "Extreme Warranty" get me unstuck when my winch fails???? :looser: Hmmm no matter which way I flip it im spending more than I want to right now...
