whats the easiest way to pinch

So i was looking at my pile last night, and had the thought of pinching the rear tub. I had the thought of cutting out long triangles in the top of the wheel wells, then folding the outer 1/4 panels inward to narrow the tub. this would be done on a yj, with comp cut corners. Does that sound logical, or is there anyone that has done this? or any other ideas thanks
