So here's the plan so far.... Discover Passes are required, but any tabbed/licensed vehicle/ATV can leave right from the Sno Park where we are camping. Everyone is free to go where they choose at their leisure but some of the local clubs will be hosting guided runs, leaving from the Sno Park at 10AM on Saturday. The Yakima Valley Dust Dodgers will be leading a motorcycle run across the Grey Rock Trail all the way to Jumpoff Lookout and back. Depending on the skill level of the riders that show up, they may host a beginners run as well. The Cascade Quad Squad will be taking a group past most of the sites and view points in the Ahtanum. They will end up at Blue Lake and, depending on skill level, split into two groups. One will head up to Blue Slide Lookout and the other will work their way back down an easier route to camp. Eastern Washington Adventures will be hosting a 4x4 run around the Divide Ridge Trail. You will need to be street legal for this one as you'll run a few miles of pavement to get to the trail head. This is one of the funnest trails up there with some world class views. You'll get to look down on Rimrock Lake, as well as go past Blue Slide Lookout and past Blue Lake. For a built rig it's an easy trail but for milder rigs I would suggest at least having good 32's. You don't have to beat your vehicle but you will get some brush scratches and run a chance of a small dent or two. The Gleed Boyz are going to be hosting a much more difficult 4x4 run and will require narrow vehicles with 35's +, lockers front and rear, a good cage and belts....as well as a disregard for your sheetmetal. They will also be hosting a SXS run as well. The level of difficulty will depend on who shows up for it that morning. Either way it will be sure to be a good one! At about 5:00 that afternoon we'll be firing up the BBQ and cooking up burgers and dogs from local business Ray's Meats then kicking off the raffle prizes at about 7. Post up or shoot me a message if you have any questions!
