The time has come for me to build bigger and as much as I will miss this rig I need to let it go for someone else to enjoy. I also do not want to part it or swap parts because I feel someone will want this just like it is and save themselves the hassle and extra cost to build...you can see great care was taken to avoid cheap parts...
This started life as a 1998 Sahara, 4.0L, 5sp, AC and now has 121k miles on the clock. The modifications below were started in '09 with the last few being done in '12 and '13. Most items were professionally installed by Creative Style & Performance in Dallas.
Below is the list of mods/parts....and I have done my best to get accurate pricing and I figure that these parts are worth about 50-60% of new based on the use I have gotten out of them or the ‘parted out’ price, if you will. The cost new of parts only is a little over $20k.
The Jeep is very very capable. It has done most of the trails at the local parks.
The Jeep was originally set up to have 37’s with the 5.13 gears, long arm kit and low 4:1 transfer case. So it could be converted to 37’s easily then allow you to find some new limits on the trail.
Currently it needs windshield replace (crack), hood repair (has some old hail damage), touch up/repaint fenders, and rebuild the rear flex joints….
