Re: wtb 25-30' bumper pull trailer or camper trailer frame

What ya got to trade?

Re: wtb 25-30' bumper pull trailer or camper trailer frame

Really just a nice 8274 and a 9500 high speed winch, but i don't think your trailer is going to be quite long enough for my 2 buggies

Re: wtb 25-30' bumper pull trailer or camper trailer frame

Bought a motorhome. Still looking for a trailer or a camper frame with 6 lug axles that I can turn into a crawler hauler

Re: wtb 25-30' bumper pull trailer or camper trailer frame

Do you ever go through Addison much? There is a bumper pull prolly about the length your looking for on the side of 278 for sale I seen it yesterday. I'm probably about to ride up there if you want me to stop and get some info and pictures for you.

Re: wtb 25-30' bumper pull trailer or camper trailer frame

If you don't care that will be awesome. I talked to Arrington out there in Addison yesterday and he has 3 or 4 trailers like I need but they are all 5 lug. Really needing 6 lug or bigger

I appreciate the help. That trailer is a little more heavy duty than what I need. Really wanting something like this.

Re: wtb 25-30' bumper pull trailer or camper trailer frame

Seems like you'd want at least 2 8 lug 7klb axles for hauling 2 rigs. Unless it's 2 razors or samurais.

I have a 34' Kaufman bumper pull, love it. Not as nimble as a goose, but it gets around just fine.

Yeah I love that trailer and wish I could find a good deal on a used one. I have a 27-2800 lb sami buggy and a 3-3400lb single seat buggy. I tow them with a 24' 6 lug gooseneck trailer perfect now. But just bought a motorhome and want to be able to haul them with it is the only reason for buying a bumper pull. My buddy just built one just like what I'm wanting to do and has 1500 bucks in his completely finished with all walk grate mesh deck and done tailed his. It pulls great with a 2 seat buggy, 4 seat rzr 100, and a kid rzr and don't really notice it behind his truck.

Re: wtb 25-30' bumper pull trailer or camper trailer frame

Is it too hillbilly to run a tall hitch and pull the goose off the back of the rv? Probably too much tongue weight with how far back the trailer axles are though.

Re: wtb 25-30' bumper pull trailer or camper trailer frame

Ha. Not going to act like I haven't thought about that. But would have to build a hell of a contraption off the back to make sure the hitch would be strong enough

Re: wtb 25-30' bumper pull trailer or camper trailer frame

still looking

For a 2 car hauler I think you really need 7k axles minimum, mainly bc you can get much better rim and tire combo's. 6 lug axles typically run 15" wheels and there's really not any great tire options out there for a 15" wheel.

Not sure if you looked at my trailer when I picked up those harnesses from you but I built my trailer with a set of dexter 10k torsion axles with 17.5" alcoa wheels and summitomo load range H tires, basically semi tires. I really think the tires make all the difference. With them aired up to spec, 125psi, there's basically no rolling resistance when loaded down with 2 heavy rigs.

How is that combo behind the 2500?

Truck pulls it easily but I do run air bags in the rear and I upgraded to a class 5 XD hitch to be safe. I ran 80-85 all the way out west and back with no issues. Only thing I had to figure out was how it likes the rigs loaded.
