I need the screw with the rubber bumper and jam nut that goes between the tb linkage and dashpot on a stick shift 22re.

Re: WTB: Intake Tube for 22re

I've got the part number for a semi truck radiator hose that will replace that part.

I'll have to get it from my buddy's truck tomorrow

Let me know, that'd be awesome!

Mine had that corregated flex **** from vato zone on it when i got it. I worked, but ran better with the factory tube in place. Got pics of the radiator hose? That sounds like a cool idea.

why do you need the dashpot?

I'm pretty sure I have several of them, post a pic of the throttle linkage you have, there are at least 3 different types

I don't know that I do, but the day I noticed it was missing is the day it started revving up 200-350 rpms the second I let off the gas and pushed in the clutch when shifting at speed. I notice it mostly from 1-2nd and 2-3rd.

That sounds more like a vacuum leak somewhere. The dashpot keeps if from dropping rpms as fast when you shift (opposite of what you are describing kinda).

its an emissions thing to keep from having a rich condtion between shifts, supposedly to help with overall emissions and maybe smoother driving?

I DO have an air intake leak, my radiator hose should be in tomorrow :woot:
