Fellas, if you got a Costco nearby and have access to it, they currently have some 1.5" ratchet straps in a 4 pack for $19.99. Branded as SnapOn, but likely still made in China.
I go through straps pretty regularly, typically the cheap ratchets collapse in on themselves. These things are nice, I bought a few packs a few weeks ago.
Finally used them this past weekend, and like them alot. Sending the wife back for more.
