Correct me if I'm wrong - but I think this was Brad Austin in the Blue Jeep - This would be Check Point #9

and then this next one would be JabNasty..

Sorry for the crappy video - my batteries died as Tripple Nickel and Beyer flew by the check point so I missed them and I had to drop the quality down to get it to record...sucked!

Thanks to the volunteers for manning the check points, and getting pics and vid.

Those vids are crazy. My roll looks like I tapped the brakes, or tapped the gas again to make it come off. No idea, :dunno: all happened so fast.

o ya all good too much fun thumb.gif The race was set up perfect that shotgun start was BADASS :flipoff1: Beyer maybe won butt he cant ride a fitty to save his life sucker :flipper: Viagra feels like **** with 100in wheelbase i guess i dnt have yelled BUMP IT still a good time :drinkers:

Dang, I didnt get any sound on the Nasty vid. I fully expected to hear screaming of hookers and keystuns.

Did he bring his booyang ? He aced the bonus wall on our course that most professional rock crawlers couldnt make laughing1 laughing1

Great vid's and pics, thanks guys for sharing the links ! Looks like you guys had a damn good time. I miss wheeling there it was always fun ! pepper.gif

Looks like a fun time! Wyatt trashed another hood/grill it appears. laughing1 That roll looked rough, I heard about it last night. That rock is not forgiving there.

booyang + :drinkers: = Many hours of pain!
I poured alcohol on my knee when I got home. Holy chit that hurt!

great pics! Greg stopped by my place on his way and gave me the scoop--sounds like the wheelin' Sat night was fun too thumb.gif

Yeah you dont pull up to the "Wall of Death" and not have it in the back of your head you may be leaving on LifeFlight. Hogan said 11 guys have been LifeFlighted out off of it. And you definately know if you dont make it you will have some damage.
I still think the line I took was all wrong. It looked like for my wheelbase I should have gone right up the middle. But everyone there said you have to start right and let it kick you left. It never kicked me left.

Damage isnt bad at all pretty superficial if you ask me. I stole that stupid bolt out of that strap on my rear bridge (the one that everyone asked why we had it ) for the rear sway bar. Tweaked that bridge forward about 2"s and tore some welds. Thats the only damage, I'm like "wow", shoulda left that bolt in.
In Indiana I compromised my front tubework and it failed when I came down on the nose. But no big deal it was going to be getting cut off this winter for a new look.

I've already got the entire buggy stripped down to work on it. Getting ready to send the Atlas in for service work, and the Front High mod. Tranny needs a rebuild after this season and this race. Repair a few tubes, and make all my mods for KOH. No real hurry.

The rocks in Disney are sharp and unforgiving, I still have no idea how I didnt cut a tire there.

What are you doing to the Atlas? I don't have 4 Hi Front only in mine either. Will they make that change for free?

Just having it serviced. I havent talked to them yet, but Bigelow told me they current Atlas can run Highside front. And the old ones can be modded for it. No idea, need to call AA. But since I plan to have it serviced anyway, might as well get that hooked up.

Broke connecting rod in #8 cylinder, fuggin water ;D The motor will live again, we'll finish tearing it down tonight. Next year will have an air box snorkel of some type, just ran out of time..... Bent and cracked the passenger side knuckle when I smashed a tree at 25 MPH. I think it would have held the rest of the race but you never know. Made pushing it into the garage a pain.

My leg is still sore from falling of the fifty.

What a fun ride. And the shotgun start rocked with minimal contact and very responsible driving thumb.gif

Great pics and video from everyone , big thanks for helping out. Had a blast and was glad to meet everyone look forward to next year. will post pics when they find the camera. :drinkers:
