Shane got down in his back and the doc told him to pick between walking or bouncing and he chose walking. He had surgery on his back for the second time to try and fix the problem but said he felt it just wasn't ever right and didn't want to risk anything. I hate to lose one out of our group but I understand his decisions, I'm going to try and bring him to a couple of events to watch and hang out with everyone.

Not saying this story has anything to do with it, but... A close family friend of ours started getting down in his back. He went to a Dr. that recommended surgery, he had it and only felt worse. The doc went back in and tried again, his didn't get any better after this 2nd surgery.

So, he loads up and goes to a Dr. two counties over. The new doc recommends surgery..... Then he cuts him open TWICE.

At this point our friend had become almost crippled. No more WHEELING! No more horseback riding. After 4 surgeries, he was pitiful.

He then drives 4 hours to a highly recommended specialist. Right after the Dr. got done looking at this chart and the way the was sitting uncomfortably in the chair, he told him, " Get up, walk across the room. (he does) Your problem is in you hip, there WAS nothing wrong with you back... Here is a # to a good hip Dr."

So, he has his hip replaced and he was back to his old self in 4 months after being miserable for two and a half years!

Never trust a doctor. They are just mechanics with degrees :****:

I think Shane fells better he just doesn't want to go through all of it again, 2 back operations and all.

Thanks for all the good words, buggy sold, Robert (the new owner) is a great guy,
says it will be on some bounty hills soon!
See ya at the camp fire...
Shane
