Support the grants for the areas that you recreate in. It is that easy. We might not like sometimes how the monies get spent, but it is better than the alternative

I disagree on two levels.

It is a statewide pool of money, it should be spent statewide, going to the most deserving.

If you don't like how the government spends your money, you will never compel the them to spend it more wisely by blindly giving them more.
There must be an incentive to preform or bureaucracy will prevail.
