I need motivation and a build thread usually provides...

I'm back and working on the new #52. Going back single seat.

Goal is to be at the Stampede and win that ****. (I'm still a bit grumpy from missing KOH and why try to sugar coat it with sportsman-like conduct? :flipoff2:)

Specs:
-LS-something...
-4L80e
-Atlas
-Radflo Coilovers and Bypasses at each corner
-Ruff Stuff 9" housings
-Spidertrax Pro Knuckles and Pro Hubs front and rear
-Raceline Monsters
-Right Side Performance dual pump steering system ... stay tuned...
-32 gallons of juice
-Branik Motorsports 2.25" 7075 lower links
-Maxxis Tires if they'll actually call me back sometime :shaking: If not then whatever...maybe grownd hawgs or buckshots...

Blah blah...same ol' junk...

Peekchures...

Nah, I've run Maxxis for the past two seasons but it's such a pain to actually get tires it's almost not worth it...we'll see though.

Looking good Will. No doubt you will kick some ass in it.

Yeah I got tired of the attitude that Maxxis was doing me a favor by letting me buy their high as the sky tires. Eric Jackson has been great to deal with on BFG's.

With that much Gas hanging in the back are you not worried about it wanting to stand up on climbs?

Rolled it out for some fresh air today.

I've got to get some tires soon. These Pro 4 tires are starting to look normal to me. Can't have that.

Seen a few other guys running there rams up high with no skid. Seems to be working out. I'm gonna give it a shot and save 40 lbs of skid/ram mount. Borrowing a ram mount from the build thread of a Bomber chassis. We'll see if I can avoid bending 10" of ram hanging out there.

I really wanted to do an 8 into 1 header setup because it sounds wicked cool. But, I made the chassis large enough to accommodate an exhaust system that goes down and out so I better use the space appropriately. I still might build some 8 to 1's that go down later on but for now a set of cheap F body headers and a few feet of tube make a pretty nice and compact exhaust system.

SICK!

Is the chassis mostly high level tacked together still? It looks like lots of missing weld, but may just be the pics.

Looking good Will. Now just finish it..... Before you get to the race! Congratulations... Better start building them with back seats now
