flowmasters super 44 muffler?

So there is the Flowmaster super 44 muffler and the Flowmaster super 44 offroad muffler. My question is... is everything about them internaly the same? I know the offroad one is made out of more heavy diamondplate material and the super 44 is $88 and the super 44 is $105. I dont need any heavy duty muffler when its tucked uner the skidplate of the rig.

I have a buddy that owns a muller shop. When I was looking into them he told me that the external case was the only difference. Whether he was right, I don't know.

I got one on Ebay for $63 that is on its way. I got it because it has the offset/offset inlet/outlet so the body can be tucked way up and it was also cheaper than the the other flowmasters.

I have the Super 44 and it's the same but with the smooth case. They sound a little different than my 40 or 50 series.

The internals are different. I dont know hwo to explain it on here other than they are different. The outside is almost the same as a 40 series, but they sound a bit smoother than a 40 series.

My Flowmaster connection told me that the Super 44 and Super 44 off Road share the same internals but have a different case.

Oh I was talking about a 40 series to a 44 series. I didn't know they had a offroad option.
