While attempting to turn the truck and trailer around in our neighborhood Karl explored the ditch near our house.
He tried winching the truck and trailer out with his jeep.... okay you can stop laughing now. Thankfully a neighbor was nice enough to chain up his own truck and pull Karl out.

4wd

:haha: :haha:

I am still laughing after watching him mustle truck at Rieter today.:haha: :haha:

I guess I'm needing some clarification? In a prior poll it was stated 'how long the fenders on Karl's truck last?' It didn't imply which fender did it?

Daully's do not go good in the snow...2wd or 4wd.

I disagree... I'm having a fawkin BLAST out here! :redneck:

I had 6 tires of lit up furry pulling my trailer out yesterday through a snow bank in our driveway and got more than a few wierd looks from cars out on the road. Low range pinned to the floor :haha:

Nice.

I'm still learning that getting this much truck sideways is A LOT of fun. :D

My fuel mileage has gone down about 5MPG because I'm always in the throttle in the snow.

That's funny because I have noticed a considerable drop in milage with mine as well with the slick roads. It's just way to much fun to hang er out around the corners:haha:

It's not a dually issue it's a Jeep driver (or lack there of)issue.:fawkdancesmiley:

Reiter road was a sheet of ice.

I turned the automatic trailer brakes (prodigy) off and was using them manually.

I tested the brakes before I got to the hill right at route 2. I slid for a good 100 yards. Then decided that 1MPH down that hill was a good thing.

Get back to the neighborhood all comfy and get the truck stuck. :booo:

I was just giving you **** but your still a Jeep driver and destined to be stuck somewhere.:haha:
Myself I haven't moved my truck in weeks. I just drive my little car so no one can run into my truck in traffic.

Try cable trail after I slicked it up nice and good. :awesomework:

Halfway up the big hillclimb on cable, I lost momentum and started sliding backwards. Then started gaining speed backwards with the brakes locked. A quick dump of the clutch in 1st gear did nothing.

Finally i came to a stop at the log that is across the trail. Fawking spooky.

We need to go wheeling Rick. I miss you. And your mustache.

I didn't put mine in the ditch today but I did plenty of donughts. :redneck:

Totally disagree. I've been cruising around in mine every day and have not had any issues at all. I pulled out a lifted chevy with a durajunk by the house a couple of nights ago. He was stuck a lil deeper than Karl. He had 3 of the 4 tires in the ditch. Hooked up with the dually, 4wd low range, yarded him out almost sideways. :fawkdancesmiley:

Karl, you couldn't pull it out? After seeing a jeep pull a semi with trailer out of the snow, I would assume one (comparably)small little truck and empty trailer would not be that hard. :haha:

You Bastard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You went wheelin without me!!!!!!!!

I don't know Kat, it looked you had some fun wheeling on the freeway yesterday. :awesomework:

I didn't want to yank on it too hard.

I couldn't anchor the jeep to anything to winch it backwards. I was about to tie the jeep off to a telephone poll but the wifey said no. The winch moved it back about a foot and then started dragging the jeep.

Where's the 'Caption this' thread?

Nice work Karl. :awesomework: Next time call me so I can come over and laugh with Ruth...
