So THIS time there will be LOTS of snow! I'm planning another trip, this one going up to slide mtn.
If snow estimates hold, there should be about 2-3 feet of snow on the way up, all powder. Should be a good all day event.

Reqs... 33+" tires at least one locker, and some recovery gear.

EDIT --- Running this Sunday, the 21st instead. Meet at 9am at my house (Lakeway Dr near the lk whatcom) or around 9:45 at the chevron in Deming.

The views look like this..

Might be able to go--depends if my new tires get here in time!:redneck: I'm not counting on it though, as they were ordered direct from interco this afternoon...:;

Might be interested in joining.....What area/FS road do you guys normally hit up there? Thinking of doing something different than the usual this weekend, with our group.

Thinking of trying to get to the top of North Fork... last time it snowed in bham, it was quite deep there:

i was up at N fork last weekend on sunday, there was around 20 inches of snow at 4000 feet. We got another 8 inches here today and apparently Deming got hit with about the same.

sooo I'm guessing there could be good 3, 3 1/2 feet up there sat. We'll have to see tomorrow, I might not be able to tow my rig up.

But if I can get it towed up, OMG it should be AWESOME up there saturday!

:ANYWORD: but thanks!:awesomework:

--Edit--
So I think I'm not going to make it up to Bellingham this weekend. But I have the week off between christmas and new years. I hope to spend one day out in the fun snow (hopefully a day after it dumps)
