Pics!
So we were heading up, and ran into a bunch of eagles, it was amazing!

Right near the entrance to Northfork, we find a bronco in a nice ditch.. not sure what happened here, but the drivers window was down :eek

Good amount of snow heading towards the top. right after the quary was fresh tracks going up the mtn. You could see some tracks from a few days before but they were covered in about 6" of new snow.

I went around a corner and waited for Jake.. he never came, so we started running back. Lo and behold we had this waiting for us:

Winching Jake out.. I thought I was going to break the winch. He was stuck HARD
IMG_2198.JPG

sorta hard to see, but that would be my rear end about 2 feet from the edge of the cliff. We decided that we had enough.

With little to winch to, I prayed that my cable would hook onto some dead burried stumps. Luckily It was able to bring me out.

But then I got pushed into the ditch on the otherside...

I wish I was able to get the footage of me digging myself out of the ditch. I actually made it out without the need of the winch!

Got back down to the quary, where we found some guys shooting clay discs. There were some nice guns to shoot!

We went back into town for some urban wheeling, but I didn't get any photos of that. aka Jake got stuck in a ice/mud pit. It started as ice, but his rear end broke through the ice and fell in. I had to drive the trail backwards to finally winch him out forward.

Thanks very much for saving my ass both times that day jakob. The one at N fork was no where near as bad as the ice pit.

Story at N Fork: Well jakob was in front of me and his rear started to slide hard right on the corner ahead so i stopped while he made it through, i made 1 run at it but got in an ugly position, while backing up my rear slid into the ditch on the left side, i backed down the ditch trying to free my self but only making it worse. Where jakob winched me from in the pic there was snow at the top of my left tail light. Again thank you very much Jakob.

no problem! and heh, thanks so much for shuttling me around B'ham to get all my parts in!
It looks like I'll get both the rad and drivelines in by the end of the day tomorrow, just in time to put her back together after christmas!

You lost another D-line???

yup. these drivelines were pretty bad. The rear one had a chevy flange, so it didn't go into the toyota t-case flange. The bolts aren't enough to keep it centered.

Just got everything back yesterday. The new Drivelines look awesome, and the Rad does too. Probably stitch everything back together Saturday.

Who'd you have do the new lines?

ritch at driveline services

Yah, he was good and FAST. I'll take some pics when I get back to B'ham this weekend. Thats the nice thing about Bellingham, its really easy to get most things fixed in a hurry.

He was in shock when he saw what I had for 'drivelines' ... :eeek:
