Big Trucks And Big Tires

here is the tallest Ive owned, then the fastest truck ive owned, then the biggest tires on a rig ive owned. this thread makes me want to put barrel springs on the burb and run some 47in LTBs. the silver dodge had twins on the 12valve, and the yj had 39.5 tsl's. I guess the biggest tire thing isnt true, the blazer came with 44in gumbo mudders I sold. Ive always wanted a rig with at least 44s for a street rig

yes the guy who bought it lives in alaska but I hear is working in bellingham. its been spotted there. dont race him, its real stinky if he wins, haha. it has twins and well over 500hp, 1150ftlbs of torque. the previous owner before me ran it in the diesel drags and ran a 14.05 in it with the canopy on.I miss it but too much power = parts breakage. here is when I had it. On topic, the white YJ I built in my picks was TK's old yj he wrecked. that excursion was huge. he used to drive it to work.

Never a shaft, just carriers and pinions! One pinion actually punched a hole in the bottom of cast housing to get out! Figured you guys would like the 10bolt. All you had to do was roll into the throttle not rev and dump.:rolleyes: The cepeks are a killer street tire super light, and they drive killer.:beer:

my buddy tom owns that truck. he lives up here in covington. he gets in trouble by the park ranger everytime we go out to greenwater. had to trailer it home last time:rolleyes:

hes never gave me any hassle. he doesnt care as long as the truck is on the trails, but dont dare drive it on the forest service roads. in the end hes just doing his job so why beat him up about it

yes that was his old truck before the black one. It had 42s on it a built engine and a 4speed. D60 14FF 4.56 army axles.:beer:

The gray step side was pretty cool to. That thing lost its clutch fan right through the hood and that thing went over the power lines. Good thing it went up and not sideways. That would have killed someone.

That thing had to of flown 300yards into the bushes and over a hundred feet in the air.

First two are of my old toyota wheeler flexed up on the stomper when it first got rockwells and 47 inch michelins.

next two are of my old 41chev 1.5ton WWII army truck. I have been trying to buy this truck for 8 yeras and never could get the caretaker and owner together at the right time.:rolleyes: Finnally the property owners sold out to the indians and had an estate auction. Nobody bid on the old truck, I got it for a 100bucks.:cheer: I had brought alot more too!:; I was so happy! Its got 1200x20s now and I went up on the 100 acres on the hill obove the farm and ran the brush untill we found the origanal cargo bed! A friends dad logged that in the 60s and remembered seeing up there so we went looking. A few winches and two highlifts and it was loaded!

the last pic is my old 5 ton on 53s and beadlocks. It has a sweet turbo:cool: Guess I am a deisel guy:eeek: :haha:
