Stupid Coupler Lock

Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

lock was probably frozen..... a lighter on the key usually works, sometimes takes a coupla trys to get it warm enough to melt the ice in the tumblers.:;

Im not to sure it would only turn a 1/4 and then stop completely. And i have used it when it was like 20 degrees out with no problems

Consider teh amount of moisture and the weather we have been having...A year can do damage.

Possibly

And you didn't call Jason because why...???

Way to go!

Im not going to make him drive all the way out here for my stupid trailer lock:redneck:

dude you coulda called and got the plasma back for that!

Naw cut off wheel is much easier, i still havent even taken it off yet.

I want to call the manufacturer tomorrow first and see what they say before cutting it up and/or breaking it:awesomework:

do you have an extra key? I'd try to lubricate the lock with a "good" non petrolium based lube and see if it frees things up. Sounds like things are pretty dried out and not moving properly

Like the stuff at the locksmith store:redneck:

Good thing you have that on there. I would just hook up the break away chains (or the little sections a thief could easily carry if you lock yours) and drive off :flipoff:

Keeps the honest people honest is all:cool:

the temp dont matter with that lock. It sits out in the rain and the rain runs down the posts on each side and starts to corrode the gears inside on each end. They are junk.

I have one, And keep it oiled. Has never let me down.

With all the ****in time you spent *****in on here, you coulda had it cut off and been gone. cry cry cry

I think it is all a fib for he can't go wheelin. Then he doesn't have to admit that he can't do the poop shoot
Or he got grounded...................

Surprised nobody suggested bolt cutters, they work really well at cutting the Master locks here at work when someone loses their keys.
