Trick or Treaters

Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

If these kids don't hurry their asses up with knocking on my door, I'm gonna go into a sugar coma...:redneck:

My kids keep asking if they can have some of the candy and I keep telling them, "No, it's for the trick or treaters."... But, I've been dipping into the bag all day and they finally found my stash of empty candy wrappers...:haha:
:haha:

Minnie Mouse, that's great!
Not one kid came by here, as usual. Being the crazy neighbor does have advantages. These peanut butter cups are damned good, one bag down one to go.:awesomework:

We didn't have any until about 6:45, and then they came in hordes. The parents were out with the little ones, and a lot of the parents were in costume, also.

Reminded me of the first year we lived in Sammamish, 1979. That too, was a Saturday evening, but the weather was nicer. We were in a new neighborhood and all the parents were out with the kids. Many of the parents had bottles of wine with them and glasses. The whole neighborhood had a great time.

She looks confused. What was she looking at?

We don't do Halloween, previously known as All Hallow's Eve. It just seems wrong to have your kids dress up and go beg for candy. Specially now that of all the candy that does make it home, mom and dad will go through it and toss anything they find 'suspicious'.

Oh well, tomorrow is All Saints Day. Much better day!

We got 5 total tonight. This is why we get candy that we like since we end up eating most of it ourselves. We handed out big handfuls to the 5 that did come. We tried the full size bars one year hoping word would spread since the wife is really into seeing all the little ones dressed up. Never seems to matter, every year we get less than 8. I blame the new housing developements near us with sidewalks and streetlights.

That used to be the best part, handing out a **** ton of candy and making some kids night, we havent gotten any trickortreaters in a few years now, when i was a kid we would get alot, but our house has a huge ass hill and I think we have a reputation of being "rednecks" :eeek: :haha:

we only got about 150 kids tonight, but it's been raining on and off most of the time. I did scare the chit out of a few of the older kids :haha:

We went out for dinner so we put the bowl outside with a note on it, I don't anyone took one so we only had a couple of kids after we got home. We usually only get maybe 10 in most years, we live on a dead end street and the neighbor hood kids are all grown up.

ditto.. 5 total.. And two of em were highschool punks just tryin to get a look at steph's rack.. ah well.. I got lots of Reeses for me now!!

I was kinda wondering why you didnt include her costume in the other thread :eeek:

Well after all that I didnt even burn through one bag. I wans't stingy either, I let them take a few. I have easily 8lb left:redneck:

On the plus side. Walked out to my front yard this morning. Didn't get teepeed or egged:awesomework:

this was the worst year we had. Maybe 10 times did the door get knocked on. :booo: Kinda sad. I like the trick or treaters.

At one point last night this little guy rang the doorbell, and demolished the candy bowl. "I want candy. I want one of these , one of these, one of these, one of these" and on and on, Then he said "and another BIG handful" and half the bowl was gone. His cohort was so embarrassed he was gonna just turn around and walk away, you could see it in his face. The embarrassed one got paid kindly for his manners, I loaded him up with more than his greedy little buddy, and told him not to share.:haha:

I think these kids just got out of the mental ward

Other than that it was rich white people parading around their east asia mail order kids.

 You really are an ASS, aren't you? :smack:

Or for some reason or another, he's like the many on here who like to make people think he's an ass. I don't get that. Why do people present them selves one way on here, and another in person or even in pm's?? I happen to know that Puo CAN be a good guy. Yet he choses to portray himself differently..:booo: Sad really.
