my girl's zj build

Well I told my gf we should build a camp rig and we agreed we wanted a zj
and would you know it i got a free one 2 days latter 125000 miles.

so might want some pointer I have not been in to specks and truck parts for
a wile, I am currently building rally car parts and suspension.

so the Idea is 3 link rear 3 link front so fixed arms and a pan hard I haven't
made that thought final.

i found a 85 460 f350 4x4 for 1000 bucks should i just get that with out
question or go with my other idea of just high pinion 44 out of a 77 150

gearing 4.88 or 5.13 not sure thinking about 35 to 37 tire and home made
duel rate coil overs. but axle choice is a big deal right now.

ps this is on the dirt cheep like dirt.
hope to hear from some people that I haven't heard from in years my sn
everywhere was ramcharger666 and i still have a rusting pile of tube chassis
at my house that could be revived

so Runner over what style of 4 link are you planning with your 60 front? I'm
in the air? Also if you want copies of anything ill save my cut files for the
chassis bracing and what not

yeah that would be sweet. im going with a inverted rear 4 link and 3 link with panhard front and going to stretch the wheelbase a couple inches front and rear it will be drivven on the street alot too. what material are u using for links? are u wanting to sell 8 heims to me i havent bought mine yet so if there a good deal im interested im on a super tight budget also:beer: this is going to be my first real build. i got the axles i just need to finish get my suspension parts should be starting in around a month. thanks man.

ya I think I'm going for 1 inch I don't know my price but i would have to
guess if i get enough i could sell them for 17 to 20

but the 3/4 I can sell for 8 bucks left or right and the threaded bushing is 5
bucks id need to order lefts but thats not hard.

the tubing I'm going to use is probably 1.5 dom I'm not really concerned
I might sleeve the back trailing links for the 3 link and the reverse 3 link in
the front im thinking about will be bent and reinforced.

Well this is the new toy slapped a new battery and it fired right up!!! look at
those miles hell ya. looks like its a full time 4wd so i know where a full time
dana 44 high pinion disk brake axle is for 250 bucks would that be worth it or
should i get a new t case and run a part time axle?
