Whats with Krawlers?

I don't think my truck would move if I bolted those beadlocks on... BIG heavy made for extreme GVW wheels they are. :haha:

It's not the lack of beadlock it's the lack of sidewall. You don't need a lot of sidewall flex in a comp, but it is handy to get a big fat aired down footprint in the snow while trail wheeling.

Just throw another t-case in there and Im suer you'll have enough gearing to move em.:haha: And i hear ya on the sidewall:awesomework:

When you state Creepy Crawlers, are you talkin the normal ones or stickies too? I am lookin around for a mud tire as well a second set for crawlin.

K was askin as I can get the :

M8090 Creepy Crawler
With its super-sticky tread, the Creepy Crawler is the right tire for any rock climbing challenge.

thru a bud of mine, with free shipping but wasnt sure if these the ones you guys talking about.

Funny thing as this just came up yesterday...Troy and I were both at Funny rocks yesterday and it was slick as snot, wet and mud on everything. I did most of the lines there before Troy got there then he did most of the same lines.....Later that day back at camp the people watching were asking me about why the BFG's worked so much better than Troys Creepys?....Yes it was slick and we both struggled but from what I was told by the guys watching the BFG's clearly had much more traction....FWIW
I personally prefer the BFG's but if I needed tires and the Creepys were available I would switch but I would not like it.

Question Rick as you know I respect your opinion. Did you do the same lines after Troy did them? We all know the rocks get very slippery when mud gets on them. Kinda like the days during winter on the rock face when the first few people would make it then everybody after had no chance when the face got all mudded up?

No I did them before Troy but after like a million other rigs had done them before me....Of course it's not a scientific controlled like thing as everyone knows being 6" over on a line can be night and day difference. I just though it was interesting that other people pointed out to me how much better my tires looked to work. Doesn't mean they all knew what they were watching.
I think it was just my bitchin rock star like style that had them all in awe of my greatness.:haha:
BTW web wheelers don't get to have a opinion.:fawkdancesmiley:

Thats it, I am coming out of retirement and settle this debate. And BTW, it was Troy wheeling might as well be talking bout Robin:haha:, Nuff said.:fawkdancesmiley::D:D BUT, since you did not do the lines after Troy was having a hard time because the rocks were mudded up makes your testamony flawed. Sorry, just the way it is.:fawkdancesmiley::D

Question for you guys that have stated your opinions like this one. Have you had both or you just talking out your azz?? Please let us know as to how you formed your opinion. And telling us that you heard from a guy is just that hearsay. Please tell me that you have run both, and that you dont believe everything you hear on the internet.:corn:

Pass....

You both stuggeled to hell out there.

I don't know though, once Troy got them smoking, they seemed to hook up quite well for him. Helped that it dried the rock, warmed the tire AND got alot of the mud off.

Good to see you again Troy

Don't make this about me.....we have a tire debate, undebated.
Whats funny is that I am the only one in this thread that has run both so I guess its my opinion that really counts. The debate is over with unless somebody else round these parts has an experienced opinion. Not trying to be a know it all, but you know how it is.:;
