I'd smoke but only how I used to, which is when it was offered to me. Never spent a cent on the ****. If I was gonna buy there's only a couple people I'd buy from, and their weed is potent enough to pretty much make you just melt into the couch and do nothing.
I prefer to kick back with a beer or 12 or some whiskey on the weekend and leave it at that.

Whether or not I smoke a little bit every so often wouldn't change if it became legal. Whether or not my constitutionally protected right to do so is reflected in local law would change, and I think that's important, whether I exercise the right or not.
If it became illegal for you to think about ****ies, would you stop? Yeah, it's a lot like that.

IMHO, it's no worse than booze. Ya never hear "Stoner leaves pot bar and kills family of 6 with car". Nope, most the time the only law that is broke is the saturated fat laws of New York whilst munching down a bag of Doritos. I say legalize it, tax it. That way the Guberment has another account to dip into when they have overspent.:fawkdancesmiley:

Saying pot is ok cuz alcohol is worser is plain stupid at best.
Both are bad, socially, mentally, the cost of lives, the cost of Doritoes.
Although I do agree Alcohol is worser. I personally don't like drugs. Every damn Heroin addict I know started out their drug adventure by smoking pot. It's a line, a line once crossed can't ever be uncrossed.

I don't really care what people think.
I grew up with an alcholic father a VIOLENT one.
He's actually one of those people who NEED to smoke pot. (calm his ass down)
It affects everybody differently.
some people it makes them lazy.
for me its quite the opposite.
Pot is not a gatway drunk, thats horse crap guberment propoganda.
I do agree that people shold be stoned out of thier head and driving.
In australia, they have a mouth swab. cops and employers use it.
If you have used in the the last 6 hours.. busted.
the biggest problem with the prohibition of pot is this.
I can go smoke a joint friday night, a week later i could and probably will test positive during a drug test.
However, i could do meth (never had never will) friday night, drug test monday morning and pass.. no problem.

Only issue with this is that if you hold a CDL or other federal licence. Even if the state made it legal it's still illlegal in the US. Pee in a cup comeup hot lose your licence.
And yes I'd partake from time to time.

Absolutely true. No one gets violent, loses all inhibitions and self control or kills a family of 4 headed home from a concert, sporting event or bar while stoned.
I wish there was a system like Austrailia instead of the piss test. Dilbert dump truck driver can go out and get high as a kite tonight and show up for work tomorrow bright eye'd and bushy tailed ready to work at 6am tomorrow without issue. If he goes out and gets **** faced drunk tonight he'll be lucky to make it in on time and will be a hungover groggy piece of **** for most of the day. Plus he'll still have his buzz on in the am hours driving around and that is legalish so long as he piss's under a .04% BAC (CDL limit) That is stupid and it happens every single day and no one thinks twice about it because being an alcoholic is socially acceptable and damned near expected in most circles.
Do I smoke? Nope. Have I smoked? You bet your ass, I was a wake and bake idiot for years.
Would I if it were legal to with my CDL? Yes I would, a nice one or two toke high is a wonderful thing. No slow down of the mind or silliness just a pleasant euphoria to get you through the day. :awesomework:

Not sure I agree with this, I hate "sin" taxes, it's just like the progressive tax and I believe it's wrong for any person to legislate their "morals" or "beliefs" on anyone, which includes "punishing" people for buying tobacco, alcohol and such, just taxing it at the normal rate would bring in a lot of money.

I'd bet dollars to doghnuts they had a drink and liked the intoxication before they ever discovered pot. Legal or not, some people are destined to go down in flames. There's alot of people that have smoked crack, meth and heroin and didn't become addicts.
I could care less if it were legal and I would WANT it to be legal if it would keep the messicans from making random places in the forest dangerous because of thier grows and scaring people to the point that they won't venture into a beautiful Pacific NW forest.:pissed:

Guarenfawkingteed! Pot isn't a "gateway drug" it's just the first socially unacceptable form of intoxication that is available so the stigma grows against it blaming pot for all the druggy pieces of **** out there.
A very good friend of mine used to be into stimulants. I've watched him snort rail after rail after rail of coke and/or meth then not touch it for a year till he feels like doing it again. Fawking amazing watching him put down the volume and not die. He's clean now and never did a damned thing illegal to support his habit unlike 99% of the rest of them. Hell the only thing he did illegal was buy booze for an underage buddy and he got popped on that one. :haha:
