I just noticed the otherday how many trucks/wheelers/ N even cars have black wheels.. I remember back when i was younger white wagon wheels were the way to go. Then when i got my first jeep (1995) i got black wheels for it.. Wasnt so popular then.. Now trucks vans cars.. everything has black wheels... I saw where you can order new cars with black wheels... Funny how things change over years...

White Wagons FTW!!! :redneck: Not a fan of either myself, but hey, to each their own! :awesomework:

had white wagon wheels on my first blazer.....just painted the exact wheels black to put on my kids first blazer. :D

I remember when white was the way to go.

I had the black "crawlers" on my ranger for a few years. Now I have wagon wheels that I painted gun-metal. Looks way better than either, in my opinion.

Cheap fawkers. Its in style cuz the MFGers push it. Black is cheaper than chrome. Just like all the silver rims for cars.

Looks like ****.

You will never see a baddass classy ride with painted rims.

Chrome is the hot ticket.

**** them ugly bland and white rims, my beadlocks are chrome.

The only exception is aluminum rims. In performance apps a polished alum rim is tops.

Painted rims go with painted bumpers. You rot in hell for painting chrome, ya know that right?

What the heck are "brak" wheels
And you must have started a trend with that jeep in 95, we owe it all to you casey, ohh by the way I lile the cheap black look

Im a fan of aluminum wheels, steel wheels just dont do it for me. I wish I had the loot to spring for a aluminum set of TR.:masturbanana[1]:

It's just the "in" thing. In enough that some dip**** painted the centerlines on my DD black before I got it. I haven't gotten around to stripping it yet but it's corroding under the paint enough to bubble, going to be a full sand/polish/clear job to get these looking how they should.

Isn't chrome a little too bling for a hillbilly like you Brad? :fawkdancesmiley:

Brak is slang for black... what is lile? :stirpot::haha::fawkdancesmiley:

Murdered out (blacked out) cars and trucks look sick. I am with B-rad on whole rotting in hell for painting chrome though. Putting black wagon wheels on my blazer this weekend.

Chrome sucks! I can't stand it. If you drive a big rig or Harley then its cool but anything else should not have it. The white rims still look good on the right rig but black just goes with anything and they are cheap.

Olive Drab beadlocks with Brak rims...:awesomework:

I figured you for a Mexi Chrome kinda guy Brad...:fawkdancesmiley:

I cant believe you called wheels, rims that many times in one post....

I just got tired of that damn deicer the the state dumps on 38deg nights all winter killing my wheels. I'm a lazy fawker and sanding/polishing out the pits in my Weld wheels every spring was BS.

My trucks getting murdered out, might even powder coat the chrome bumpers! :FU1:

Poverty caps and trim ring FTW! :cheer:

That is a BEAUTY ring, not a trim ring.

In my eyes nothing beats an old set of chevy rally wheels all pimped out. Then when you take it to the strip for test and tune you remove all the chrome beautimus to give it that raw look.

Like this-

Then in stripper mode (pun intended)-

18 tickets? Lol.. damn Bunk.

Bull**** and bull****.

No ****, pretty much all muscle cars came factory with painted wheels. Those factory ralley wheels Jacob posted were painted argent silver right from the gm factory.

Personally I like wheels painted, chromed or in polished aluminium it all boils down to the application. I have painted over rusted to hell chrome and white wheels with black over the years with black. I think its a bit over done but it generally looks ok.
