i spent last summer at car shows until stang got smashed... got my pre registration for colby cruise already... trying to get some projects finished so i can bring my roadrunner back into shop, and get the motor back in ,and fired up...

where you located, and where does everyone hang out? up here BK on saturday,or McD's in clearview...

Sounds like a good reason to fire up my 1970 ElCamino SS 454. It hasn't been out of the garage in 10 years....... since I got into wheelin'. Got to do a little work since it has sat that long but should be easy. Just thinking about it this week-end.

Yes. My plans this year Silvana, Greenwood, and stanwood all good shows. I'll be going with a buddy of mine that his 5 years restoration on a 67 chevelle is just about complete.
My car is a 69 SS

I saw the pictures of your mustang after the wreck ouch!!!!. I live in Arlington and we like to hit the Burger King. it would be cool to meet you since we live pretty close and my little brother is going to get into wheelin and he really wants a toyota and might be ready to buy something in the next few weeks, we could definately use some good advice on what to look for.

OK don't laugh but this is my first time on any forum ever so hopefully I am posting correctly. Mark M that is a kick ass Chevelle and I will be doing Sylvana and Stanwood plus Arlington,Granite Falls, and the King Charleys shows I am not sure my car is good enough for Greenwood though.

Get that thing fired up the good weather will be here before you know it. I think it would be great to get a large group of NWW and cruize. I know I live up north but I also have a good friend that lives in Puyallup who has a very nice 1968 big block Camaro so I am down that way too [the Ram is a cool spot to cruize].

I am on the other side of the mountains, so we still get ****ty weather rolling thru quite often for a few more weeks... it just snowed yesterday morning... I will go get mine out of storage around the middle to end of March... I havent seen her since October :eeek:

Its not about being good enough. Greenwood is just a fun show no matter what.
Lets see some pics of your car.

I know the feeling I walk by mine every day and she's begging to get driven, also I like your quote because the group I wheeled with for years were all FJ 40's and toyota trucks so I was the token jeep in the group and was abused regularly.

Mark M I need to get some money to crash first I think because I tried to post pictures of my jeep and could not get it to work, and it doesn't help that I am not very savvy with a computer

Sorry to here about your dad I feel for you my chevelle was my mothers that she bought new from Chuck Olsen in Seattle and I think about her every time i drive it. I put a new interior in last year and found some of my old hot wheels under the back seat and movie stubs from the old Kenmore drive in, sure brought back a lot of old memories

ricks- sign up on photobucket then you can link pics over here to nww!!! yea we can meet up anytime!i am a sucker for cars trucks, whatever has wheels!!
did you look at pics in the garage from car shows, and my sons stang.

just to let everyone know i spent yesterday tearing down my stang... she sits in the shop with the front clip pulled off right now,and i have aquired most the parts to put her back together!!!! i have also been doing a lil bit of cleaning up on my 68 roadrunner..for sitting for 17 years i cant believe how good she stilll rolls round..

MARKM- you better let us know when that machine is out!!! bring it up to BK!!! AND DONT FORGET THE ARLINGTON CAR SHOW!!!not the downtown one but the one at the airport! this is a huge show, and was fun as hell; i dont know if we will get to have a cruise this year, someone left lots of black marks all over town last summer, and a certain black stang was in the middle with open headers :redneck:!!

I can't wait to get back into this scene. I grew up in it and it was a lot of fun. My Dad and I restored my Grandfather's old 52 Ford pickup when I was a teenager. My Dad and Mom never get it out anymore and they are ready to get it out of the basement so I am supposed to go to Alabama sometime and bring it up here.

We did the typical frame chop on it and added a Z28 sub frame to the front and running a decently built 350. It needs a rear end and I plan on doing a 9" with links and track bar in the rear.

This is a really cool thread, I enjoy hearing about everyone's pride an joy.

I have an 8.8 w discs and 4.10's to put in mine this spring, along w/ some GT/Comp rear springs... should be a big jump from the 2.73's!

She is also gonna get a different tranny... hopefully one that will do a 5th to 4th downshift, and not make weird noises :D
