New to yelm/jblm, moved from phoenix, az

Hi guys, I just moved 2 weeks ago from phoenix to yelm, WA which is just south of Joint Base Lewis McCord. I have been wheeling for over 10 years, and am looking for some guys to go hook up with and do some wheeling. I don't know the local areas yet but I see I am pretty close to ELBE HILLS.

Is there a place where you guys post trail runs?

Anywho here is a pic of my rig currently... it's still a work in progress but it's a cut up and tubed 88 GMC Jimmy with rockwells, full hydro steering and a 203/205 doubler triple stick. Welded spiders rear, and locked front. I still have some small 35's for tires but if anyone has some 44's they want to get rid of let me know!!!

With rockwells and only running 35" you must drag the diffs a lot.:redneck:

Yes sir I do. Actually ground clearance is about the same as with a dana 60. Oh and once i registered your trail sections showed up so I solved that one. :D

Yeah I know where clearwood is. Awesome, I saw your rig in your welcome thread, looks pretty good. I assume you hit up elbe a lot, I have never been there and want to go my first time with someone who can show me the good stuff. Let me know when you are going.

I'm here in pheonix....why did you move to the great northwest...have fun in all that mud.hope you got a winch. make sure you try the busy wild EASY but wet trail.

I am here at Joint Base Lewis McCord for the army. Yeah I am figuring that out, a winch is next on the list, followed by some big rims and tires. Have fun in phoenix, lots of amazing places to wheel there, let me know if you are looking for some places.
