• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

Will be at Evans 5/12.

I'm thinking about going with a friend Saturday morning as well. His first time wheeling at all, and my first time in my samurai. I'm fairly new to it in general, and haven't taken the samurai out on any real trails at all since it's been built. Mind is a newby tags along? I'm open front and rear, but lifted on 31" LTBs, and geared.

We will be in the main entrence parking area around 9:30AMish CB channel 4.

Hey Logan80, is your buddy on PNWJeep.com? This weekend the weather should be great. I'm about 80% sure I'll be there.

My friend doesn't have a 4x4 at all, he just wants to ride along. We're both into VWs, but I also like 4x4ing, got him hooked too. I don't have a CB in my rig yet, but I'm easy to spot. Blue samurai with a black top, really wide stance.

take plenty of pictures...I'll be heading up in a couple weeks will be nice to have a scouting report. :D

you should check out some of the other trips at Evens, from just a few weeks ago good pics there.Scouting report if you don't want dents or scraps just stay on graveled roads.:fawkdancesmiley: :haha:

Thanks Greg for the seat. It was good seeing you again and hanging out with all you guys. Jeff, I assume you made it home ok, I didn't see your rig on the side of the road anywhere! Can't wait to get my rig running and roll with you guys (if you'll allow a Jeep to play with all you Toys that is! :haha:)

I'm guessing it hurts too much to type a response!
Either that or he is nursing a nasty hangover after drinking away the pain! :haha: :flipoff:

I had a blast Saturday, no pictures at all though. We did the 311 to 311A into the campground, then went down and got food. Came back and did the 102 with all the switchbacks to the end, and then we did the 198 all the way through as well, it ended at a huge area that looked like a gravel pit, had a campfire spot in the middle. There was one trail that led off the 198 that we started down, it got REAL nasty with deep tire holes and mud, so we turned back and finished the 198 instead of taking that trail.

OVerall me and my friend had a blast, we did great for being open front and rear and no winch. Just lift, gears, and tires really. This was my first time really exploring Evans, can't wait to go back and do some more of it.

Do you guys have any pictures of your trip?
