FiFo was going north bound on 405, right by 160th street, when a generation black dodge Durango sideswiped his driver side. They then kept on going. He is fine, but the rig is damaged (with black paint left on it). The person behind him stopped and confirmed the make of the model, as well what they thought the license plate was: 808N0K. We don

Does Fifo have a new red dodge? I saw it on the side of the freeway. Looked like a lot of damage too.:booo:

2007 Dodge ram 3500 QC sitting on I-405 North just past the 160th ST. on-ramp in Kirkland? If so that was me  waiting for the WA Highway Patrol to show up, it took them over 2 hours.

Ok, here

real bummer. i can recommend one place for repair. Bel-Kirk right there in kirkland off the 116th exit. i know the owners personally, and i know they have done quite a few of the newer dodges. best of luck:awesomework:

I say burn his house down...:corn:

At the moment I feel that's too good for him, I'm thinking more along the lines of installing a pair of those hanging truck balls, except I'm not planning on using rubber ones.

Thanks for the tip.

I talked to State Farm tonight and even if they don't catch the guy it's covered under my underinsured motorist coverage (Lower Deductable). So the think now is I want to make sure this is done right.

808-NQK is a 2002 Dodge Durango out of Bothell, but its listed as silver not black. 808-N0K like you have isn't a valid plate, and 808-NOK is a Jeep. Address is on file for the Durango.

EDIT: Crap, just read the previous posts. I see you already figured out it was NQK. Its common, happens a lot. Anyway, I tried to help, haha. Hopefully he actually goes to look at it. All that will really happen is he will charge him with duty upon striking for an attended vehicle (hit and run) and then get his insurance info for you hopefully so you can his insurance to pay for it.

Been there, had it happen. At least you got a plate number. My truck was parked, guy bounced off it and 2 other cars. 5 witnesses, got year, make, model, color of car. ethnicicity of driver and passenger, what they were wearing but no plate number. That was back in december and I am still fighting allstate to get it fixed. They want to charge me collision deductable, when I have police report and everything else. Refuse to pay 500 when I should be paying 100 at most.

Thanks for trying though, even if the patrol man already got it I appreciate your effort. So if they catch this guy and charge him with

Try not to take it personaly, let the police deal with him. The hit and run is between him and the cops. You should just concentrate on getting your truck fixed.

This is going to sound really funny but when I wrecked Rhonda`s honda civic, Allstate said one of the best places in this area is at Brien Ford in Everett, they did a great job and color matched the 4 year old paint in white.

Kat

p.s. I got Tee boned crossing 2 lanes of traffic hit it ithe right rear tire.

Ya, I've been wondering if I should take it to a Dodge dealer, it's a brand new truck and I don't really want them to just bang out the dents, I want them to go over it with a fine tooth comb and replace anything wrong with brand new parts.

Might be a good idea but then you need to find a dodge dealer with no worse than a good body shop perferably great.

Call Jesse at Pro Finish in Kent. He's certainly not the cheapest, but if insurance is covering it, then take it to him, he does real good work (you'll see his Dodge when you're down there).

Sorry to hear about the damage :booo:

I think your OK on them not banging out dents as from what happened to me they only hire R+R techs not body technicians anymore.

Real bummer though, about the truck-been there done that.

Ya, I hope it doesn't take nearly as long to fix as yours did, it shouldn't the damage isn't nearly as bad.

Lame, prob some rich kid with a suspended license who's parents will prob pay to get him out of trouble, meanwhile you and your new rig are hurtin. All I can say is **** like that eventually catches up with people. The person may live the rest of their life never having any true friends and wondering why they suck but never figure it out.

Here here for karma!! The bum that hit you will get whats due to them eventually. You may not be there to witness it, but rest assured that the it will come back to bite them somehow!

Ya, they will spank him and take his birthday away. Meanwhile the law abiding citizen is fawked over again................our legal system is great at not doing a thing to get justice.

Yeah that's prety much what I said. Now he can get worked up over it and hold a grudge not being able to do a damn thing about it or just let it go and move on.....

If your still looking for a shop. Check out Precision AutoCraft out of New Castle.

http://precisionautocraft.com/contact_us.htm

I've had work done there on my rigs, and taken my GF's car, mom's truck, and now my GF's mom, brother, and dad have all had stuff done there. Very good shop.
