Sounds like an accelerator pump will throw a good carb on it holly is the worst their for hot rods on flat ground yea bring it up ill have a stall in the shop ready for ya.

Im good with carbs ive always had carbs ive got a brand new edelbrock we can try on it to but you best off with a stock quadrajet they work awesome off road what carb does it have.

i would but it is too dark to take it all your see is black i will probley bring it up tomarrow start workign on somthings i need to get ti to run better know any one who is good with 350 or carbed motors

i have looked up alot of programmers but one that run 700-1000 buck and it aint really worth it cause next i know i would toast my tranny.. i will look into that whitman one let me know on the other too thanks i only get 13-14 mpg not loaded with 37s though

one of friends has a 97 f 350 crew cab.high flow exh cool air intake and a wildman programmer.wildman makes a programmer specific to your truck and with whatever settings you want.my friends truck on extreme blows black smoke like a dodge and hauls ass.his also has tow,economy(which has 40 or 60 horse over stock i can't remember) he avg. 17 mpg w/ camper from utah and back.anyhow when you order from wildman he needs vin and trans codes tire size etc. my other friend's truck is more powerful but i'll have to ask him tomorrow what he has i forget. hope this helps.also check out dieselstop.com and look up programmers. lots of useful info there to!

i'm a chevy guy but those ifs front ends suck ass(i was a mechanic for 10 yrs)and dodge is well a dodge.did you get a chip or a programmer? i know several friends that did programmers on their fords and their **** is fast & smoke dodges and chevs.and of course pull like hell! i can let you know what they are if your interested.

is your 97 f 250 a diesel? i got a 02 power stroke i love it!tows awesome.
