Part out or sell complete 76 CJ-7

I honestly wish I had time. If I could get $5k out of it I'd probably be happy. Especially if I knew someone would actually use it, rather than it just sitting in the carport collecting dust.

Part out or sell complete 76 CJ-7

Hey guys, need some advise on how to proceed with the sale of one of my rigs. Bought a 76 CJ-7 a couple of years ago and with the illusion that I was a better mechanic than I actually am, and bit off more than I can chew.. After investing a good chunk of change into it. As it currently sits...

    Pro Comp reservoir shocks

I bought a set of Pro Comp Reservoir shocks off of the CL, and one of them needs to be rebuilt. How tough is this? Should I have a shop do it, rather than attempting the rebuild? Who sells the rebuild kits? The shocks in question are the 2.0 MX series shocks. Thanks Nick

    Toy Brake advise

Update IFS hubs were used, so the bearings were in great shape. PO replaced them before I bought the truck. Drilling out the LC rotors was a breeze. Slipped right over the hub, and bolted together. Aisin hubs bolted right up to the IFS hub assembly. I went to Tacoma screw and bought longer...

    1st gen Runner front bumpers

Who would you guys recommend? I've looked around, and everything looks the same if you're looking at tube, and other than that it's ARB (which I'd love to avoid for personal reasons). Let me know.

Ordered the wipers from Bobby tonight, as well as some inner axle seals from Marlin. Can I pick up the bearings from Schmucks? Or is this something I should order from a 4x4 vendor?

    12 volt guy

Just a big thumbs up from me for Darren (12 volt guy). 4runner rear window quit cooperating this weekend. Darren boxed up a window wiring replacement kit Sunday evening, and it showed up on my door today. Kept me in the loop throughout, realizing my sense of urgency due to the weather as well...

    Toy Brake advise

Little off topic but what the hell. Should have named the post newbie rebuild Q and A Rebuild kits. White Trash says to stay away from the TG kit because the trunnion bearings are crap. Other than the Stealership, whom would you guys recommend? If all the kits are the same out there, I've had...

But now I know to sh!t can the Warns currently on my rig, and use the Aisins that are currently on the axle being used for my swap. One less thing I have to replace later on in theory.

But can I use the Aisin's with the rest of the IFS assembly/LC rotor/ IFS caliper?

    Toy Brake advise

Are the SA/IFS hubs interchangeable? If so I'd run the Aisins and keep the Warns handy for spares. Another question I had was what happens when I want to upgrade shafts etc.? Will I have screwed myself using the IFS hubs, and wont be able to use SA hub gears and such? I read on the Longfield...
