Offroad Design is selling a seal that is like a stemco brand used on semi axles. Some sterling axles in fords use the same type. I purchased a set but haven't installed them yet. They look to be a good quality seal but a little pricey at 29.00 ea but if they work there worth it.
I've torn down several 22R's and have yet to find one with an actual gasket. Most are siliconed. I use the grey permatex brand and have never had an issue yet. :****:
Best bang for your buck is the 35lb. flywheel from LCE it really helps on the bottom end. Like everyone else is saying these little motors don't make much power
but they are a reliable.
I just installed a set.Torqued to 30 in. lbs. Been on two rides no issues yet. I sure hope these don't turn out like those Dynatrac hubs. I tried a set of those a few years back never did get them to work. Real POS they were!
At this years Dixie Run we are going to have a leaf looker ride for stock and mildly built rigs. On Friday morning we will leave GMP @ 8:00 am and travel to Big Bottom/Scotts Gulf area.
The ride will take most of the day so you will need a full tank of gas and eats. We are doing this on Fri. so...
