I have a 81 toyota frame that is in excellent condition.

Good parts:
Front axle is disassembled, no birfs
all suspension

manual steering box,
20R engine that is probably only good for scrap

I'll get some pics up tomorrow. I was thinking someone might need this frame for a resto job, Formula toy, or just a good clean straight axle frame to start a build.

$300 for the whole deal. MAKE OFFER!. :dblthumb:

Re: 81 Toyota frame/rolling chassis *Rust Free*

Long wheel base or short? I have an '80 with a rusted frame. I might could use this. :-\

Re: Re: 81 Toyota frame/rolling chassis *Rust Free*

Short bed. Come wheel golden mtn and pick it up!

I'll keep the front axle and sell the frame and suspension for $200

I was hoping it was a long bed frame. I'm gonna piece together a hunting truck and I have a good bobbed bed for a LWB. I've already got a good SWB frame.

Maybe I can get up that way and wheel sometime anyways. :driving:

Re: Re: 81 Toyota frame/rolling chassis *Rust Free*

Started parting it tonight, disassembled front axle, suspension, etc.

bare frame available.

Re: 81 Toyota frame/rolling chassis *Rust Free*

axle is tore apart, a buddy needed the birfs (who still runs stock birfs!! :puke:)

Me... I'm a heap azz and only have 34" skinny tires.
Trust me i wish i could afford them. But i'm in need of propane to get rid of this dumb carb first.
But i do have to say my bump stops are turned out a bit and even wheeling pretty hard if you don't abuse ( turn sharp rev and dump lol)
They are holding up decently for me, i've been suprised as to how well they actually hold up

Re: 81 Toyota frame/rolling chassis *Rust Free*

Bed is removed now, just a bare frame with rear axle housing so it can still roll around.

Anybody want it?

Re: Re: 81 Toyota frame/rolling chassis *Rust Free*

Good frame, probably going on the next scrap haul if no one wants it.
