So i bought a 51 Whilly

Back from page 3

Well my back is feeling better and i had some free time today.

Had finished off the front brakes, using stock Ford rotor and Dodge caliper. Had to shave the inner brake pad a little:redneck:

Added the dash.

Started fitting the tailgate.

well its been so cold out i have not had much desire to make progress.

i installed a 220V electric heater yesterday and its been running all night to see if it can even make a dent in the deep freeze of my shop.

i have a week off so if i can make it tolerable i can get some stuff done.

i remember how cold it can get out in your shop hip. brrr! hope it warms up.

on the other hand i was out in barely double digit weather yesterday. digging the toyota out, jump starting it. then laying in 2 feet of snow, drilling out 3 broken hub studs. 3hrs later toyota is fixed(needs a new battery red top is dead) my toes are numb, and im ready to play in the snow.

How close is too close?
I dont have much room to move the axel end.

I guess its a good thing everything is just tacked...:redneck: i was gonna get another inch less BS than the mock up rims so i should be good. Ricks are 4" and i havent placed my order yet.
