I could be easily pursuaded to load up for the dunes too.

i wish! we are going to see my granny for a couple days then coming back on teus. not enough time to even go to the dunes on this trip as my other reletives are coming from colorado also, so just 2 days of catching up with family before we come back and hit reiter.:hi:

Granny getting up there eh? Mine to...:booo: Sad times...

on a briter light... KICKASS BRAD!!!:awesomework:

I'll be camping, but look for me in the lower lot, 9-9:30ish.

I may camp below the 120, or in the camp ground...

Depends on whos' around, and what time i get up there.

I haven't done **** on my rig. I think i'll just load up, fix it on the trailer when i get there. (nothing thats going to stop me from wheeling, just stupid **** that annoys me)

OR, if i can get off work early i'll get it done before i leave.

I'm going to have a full rig, me, my wife, and 2 of our friends.

No evans for me today.:booo:

I went ahead and ripped the front end apart and swapped out the stiff front leaves for some longer and softer hybrid packs built custom just for this here rig.:redneck:

I made a few tabs and extended the front about two inches. That combined with the new springs pin location moved the fornt axle foward 3 inches. Now my wheelbase is 111 inches.
Should have alot more travel. Just have to get the drive shaft done and flex it up this afternoon.:awesomework:

I don't feel so bad now.. I waited around for people till 10am.. then i hit the trails.

I have to get the photos from my bud. Going up the 127 is pretty good right now..
Almost went over a couple times... good stuff.

2nd pic post 139...why is your upper spring sitting there??? Ya got triple rate for it? How is the spring cup retained on foa c/o's??

The dual rate sliders between the springs is a little tight on the shock body. It needs to be machined out just a little to slide easily.

The lower cups are like the other coil brands just cast, not billet.

Whats the hot ticket to keep the coil centered on the lower cup. It seems to be a common problem on coil rigs from what I have been hearing.

On mine I just drilled a couple small holes and zip tied the cup tothe spring.....It can still get cockeyed at the bottom but rarely does.

Ive seen the same thing but with saftey wire instead of zipties. They hold fine, dont break/rip (zipties)?

I have even seen folks JB weld and silicone them on. I liked the hole and tie method myself. But I like the fact that the zip ties wont wear a rusty mark/stain where the cup meets the coil.

It works way better than before now that I have the front springs swapped out. It will put a tire up my trailer till the rear pumpkin touches the deck. The front splits the work with the rear now instead of just following the rear and not working the front.:awesomework:

Ok I got a few updates and pics for this thread. I have wheelin the piss outa this thing and it has needed a little work up front.

I last went to reiter and tore up the front locker and killed a tooth on the ring gear.

Oh well pics as follows.:corn:
