Ok Ok ok, I can finally stop bitchen about not trusting the ol gmc 454 dually.:cheer:

I picked up a 98 dodge, loaded exta cab, 4 door, cummins 12v, flatbed.

Its much nicer than what Ive been looking at in my price range. The guy came down 2700 bucks too, that helped alot.

You know what!.....................your right, you know me to well, I will find one for a good deal down the road, just giving chopper a hard time.

Heres some pics.

Its a 98 extra cab, 4 door. It is fully loaded. I never expected to get a truck this nice. The ones in my range we had been looking at all had problems or were roaches.
This one is a nonsmoker truck too, real important to me. Cigs are nasty.uke:
It has 182,000 miles on it. A full 4 inch exhaust and a steel flatbed (no wood decking)

It was listed on CL by owner for $7700.:booo:
Well after some of my superb verbal negotiation skills, I had a cummins tow rig for $5000 even.:cheer:

I am so happy. I havent slept good since we started looking. I finally feel relaxed. I cant wait to hitch up the trailer!!!:awesomework:

Soooo, what'd it set you back??? Looks like a decent truck, save for a few cosmetic issues...:awesomework:

Coulda sworn it was you, when I ran into you and Brian outside the door nearest our booth...I could be wrong though-- And yeah, @ 5K, looks like a real score!!! Most 2wd 98 12V's sell for that or more if they're in any shape at all!!!

I was almost ready to throw the towel in and just get a 2wd, Im glad we waited.

I also was almost about to make a deal on the f350 powerstroke in the rigs for sale section. I always liked Odies red ford like it. Its the crewcab ford (96 or 97 I think it was). Its a killer deal for 5400 aswell. It sounds like a nice truck too. The guy was real nice on the phone to.:awesomework:

What do I do to it now? The guy said someday its gonna need an injection pump. I was readin old threads last night and it sounds like I want a stock pump with a #3 govener kit and do the dowel pin upgrade too.

Anything else? I dant want a super pumped up 12v, but I would like a decent amount of power and mileage, I dont want to do anything to kill other parts. I also dont have cheese to spend on items not needed or important.:awesomework:
