I'm getting ready to rebuild my th350 and would like to know if anyone has used the monster in a box kit and what they thought of it or the TCI super pro kit

Think thats going to fix reverse?

Until you dissassemble the tranny you never know. even good tranny builders will tell you some times a simple teardown won't tell the story as to why.

As for the kit I have never used one..

I'm pretty sure my reverse issue started out as a blocked passage that has now resulted in buring up reverse. There is no reverse anymore. I've talked to a couple tranny shops now and they all have said about the same thing

Jeff i found some old pics of ur cruiser back in the day.

I know the old goats come a long ways since the 2 barrel on a 283 with cherry bombs flyin down the road at 90 mph with both you and ur passenger holding the hard top from fliping off. Or trying to jump some shucks car ramps in the drive way only to have it flip up between the the tire and fender and **** the fender all up.:haha:

pulled my tranny apart last night. everything looked good until i got to the low/ reverse clutch pack. apparently it helps if there is friction material on those clutches and not burnt metal:puke:
