So Jacob and I head up to surprise lake last night and this is what we found part way up the mountain.

The guy said they had been there since around 3pm and it was after midnight when we got there. Who brings a lowered 2wd dually into the mountains? We worked on it for 3 and a half hours before we got him out, turned around and hooked back up to his trailer. He didn't even thank us.

Couple weeks ago a buddy and me pulled out a group of idiots, unamed because I think some of them are on here, and the same thing..........No FAWKING thank you....

I don't care what anybody says you guys did the right thing....

Been there--done that-will do it again...

Good job you guys!!:awesomework:

All we or anybody needs is more dumb people getting stuck up in those hills... ( Fully speaking from experiance:mad:)

No thanks needed... Pat yourself on the back and know that you might have saved some lives...:awesomework:

Oh and you stay on the concrete (left at the "Y") to head towards Surprise... This might have saved you guys from a even more painfull night aswell...:awesomework:

This was not at Evans or the road to Evans. This was on the dirt road that goes up to Coplay Lake and the Surprise Lake trail. Adam is just confused and put it here in Evans Creek.

Yeah I didn't really know where else to put it. Evans creek is the closest thing to it so I figured what the hell.

didnt they have horses to pull them out? i seen it on commercial once.. guy gets truck, and trailer stuck he just used his horses he was hauling...

nice job guys...like stated. been there, done that,do it again...

That was the first thing I said to him when he opened his window- "You couldn't use the horse to get you out like that guy on the viagra commercial?"

He wasn't entertained.

that was my first thought also. :haha:

glad you were there and ABLE to help.:awesomework:

Wow, thats the biggest cluster I have seen. I belong to Sno Co. S&R so we get to do this all the time and yes it is thankless most times. Most recent one Jeepmauler and I were in Canada and had some guy pound on the trailer door at like 6am after an full night of wheelin. Said he was stuck down by this lake so we told he we would slowly get ready and come help him. After about 3 hours of looking for the guy where he said he was we found him miles away still stuck. Winched him out and he paid up like $130 in Canada coins... Ya coins. :haha:

To add to the story I cant find a place to exchange coins down here cause it cost too much to ship the coins back.

It's ok, when you're helping and idiot, you get to make fun of them. It's not like they're going to tell you to leave. Stuff like this happens all the time around here. People will wander up into the hills too early. If they're nice we pull them out right away. If not, we tell them we'll help on our way out.
