Scotty got it setup for a 2 day work party with some camping. Beeh how many years since? Many said it would never happen--nothing like a new place with a new start and thanks to those who started the ball rolling abd who have been involved ever since--and those who come out and lend a hand.

We took a trip down memory lane. I have always loved this view and it doesn't look too different today.

We hiked into BYS to take a look. The area will be logged here very soon. The water hole that started at the entrance of BYS was dry--in 30 years I have never seen it dry.

We did a little work/testing on the new yellow trail. For those who think reiter isn't hard enough yet---just wait..

And there is nothing like monster truckin with a rather large log attached to ya :redneck:. Drug this thing probably 1/2 mile and the fun part was dragging it all the way down the G11 from the top. Well worth the effort to stabilize the bottom of the first hill climb.

Nice work! And way to go everyone who has come out to help in whatever capacity you can! :cheer:

was a good time for sure! It was also the first time I have ever camped at Reiter LOL.

DNR is "talking" about doing an addendum to the current SEPA to allow camping... it may not happen for a year or so but I think we are getting to a tipping point of having a weekend of trails especially when this years trails are completed.

Thanks you everyone who has helped out thus far on making Reiter happen! Next work party Sunday July 26 be there!

We need to keep showing interest in camping to dnr at work parties and the focus group meeting

Wow that place is really looking good, I have seen a couple videos and pictures of some of the new stuff. I really like how the G11 looks, I am excited to see the purple trail when that is completed. You guys are doing awesome work, wish I could help, torn muscles take forever to heal... Making me excited to get a new rig going this Spring :)! Also camping would be awesome, hope they allow it soon.

On a side note, the water hole, was that the bottomless pit on the Wall Trail?

How many miles of trail are there for 4x4ss so far? Used to wheel up there in 2000 when it was all open up to lake Isabel. Would love to have another place to go within 2 hours of home. Any recent pictures?

The new reiter isn't necessarily about miles... It's more about density of obstacles so with that said I think there's about two miles of open trail right now... :corn:

FYI toy4runner Purple trail is open... if you fit the spec's and the gate keeper.
