Yum... Tacos

I got the mounts burned onto the new plates. Once thing I didn't like was the distance from the bolts to the outer edge of the mounts--I was afraid they would bend under a hard pull. I ended up drilling/tapping the side of the new cross member and adding 2 tabs. That should do the trick and the bumper is now an easy 10x stronger than it was in its original form.

So I did find an issue with the rear disk brake kit. So the brackets are flat but the inner flange is not. Where the studs come thru and the nuts sit is recessed a tad. I was able to resolve it pretty simple with some washers.

So I got the 3rd member tossed in and rest of the housing painted. Got the brake system and lines done. Then got the vent hose and arb line ran.

Rear end is now all complete.

I bled the brake system (still needs a little more) and figured it was time to throw the tires on. And damn its really looking good now.

So next is getting the front lights wired up and this is what makes me shake in fear :redneck:

So the "to do" list is now VERY short.

I got the bump stop brackets made and welded onto the spring plates.

Jason ordered a front shaft from tom woods and the rear is out getting fixed up. Once I got them I can ramp it and finish the bumps.

I got his lights back onto the bumper and rewired. I also added a connector so the lights or bumper can be removed if need be :awesomework:

I am officially out of parts :redneck:

Got the rear driveshaft re tubed and the front from tom woods. Got them slapped in and perrrrrrfect..:cheer:
