Choccolocco hard on tires?

Interested in going to Choco in a couple of weeks and heard rumor it is hard on tires, as in really sharp rock type destruction?

Boat ramp claims a tire every weekend trick is not to stand on the brake while sliding backwards easier said than done that's really the only place I've seen tires get cut. Give me a yell when ya come try to get some locals together to show you around.

That would be correct boat ramp is the only place I have seen anyone cut a tire but it is made for sticky tires or all out buggies very awesome place to ride lots of great trails something for everyone

My tires did great, they chugged through the loose and sharp rocks no problem...my hood and fender they got claimed by Chocco :-[

Thats what I get for not prewalking the trail and thinking I can follow linked and coiled rock buggies in my yota.

The BOAT RAMP bottom ledge seems to be the worst I've seen, I guess we just need to pave it so no one will tear anything up anymore. :dunno:

I rode all over CHOCCO for 3 days,and 2 long nites

, and yes the only spot I saw was if you slide the **** back down boat with the gas mashed that lip ledge of sharp rock looked scary, but that was the only spot I seen in the whole park that concerned me about hurtin a tire.

HELL, yer subject to GASH a tire at any rock park, I mutilated one on sunday drive at gray rock :wtflol:
