1- you dont have to have a kit to debrake them just take them apart pretty straight forward.
2- narrows the width unless you wanna change the offset on your wheels mine are not flipped.
3- the front axles are set to one side so your links wont be centered so pretty sure it wont work right.

Ok thank you...do u have any troubles fitting through trails? And I'm not 100% but my front diff looks to b in the center I could be wrong so what do u mean by sayin the front axles are set to one side and link wouldn't b in the center..once again thanks for the help!

When you order or build your wheels keep in mind the backspacing. On my buggy with 12" wide, 3" backspaced wheels I was over 100" wide.
I built a set of wheels with 10" shells from Speedway: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Wheel-Shells,218.html and centers from MudPro Metal Works: http://www.mudprometalworks.com/rosc.html and DIY beadlocks.

I centered the wheel center in the shell and narrowed it to 93". Much easier to haul and with a twin stick transfer case I can dig around in the woods and go down some pretty narrow trails.
I think a 1 ton axle with 2.5" back spaced wheels is pretty close to the same width.

My jeep is 96" wide with rockwell hubs in wide position with 14" wheels with 7.5" back spacing, I have rear steer now but when it had regular rear axle it was fine in the woods with twin stick and digging like yankster said...very strong and reliable axles for the money....just keep backspacing and hub fliping in mind when ur buying or building ur wheels

Ok yea that's where I'm fixing 2 order a bunch of goodies mudprometalworks.com I'm putting the axles under my 79 bronco I'm not sure if they need 2 b flipped or not I plan on running 44s or 47 ltb& I have 10 wide wheels I'm going 2 run I appreciate the input on the backspacing tho I had no idea of how much I needed! With ur centers in the middle of the wheel did it hit the axle tube or the tie rod? & yes that's what I've always heard they are real strong I'm goin 2 hafto have sum strength my right foot has teretts lol

No clearance problems at all. I could have added more backspacing if I wanted.

Really I figured they would rub with a bunch of back spacing I'm not sure how I'm goin 2 set mine up yet I'm just startin this build just picked up the axles Saturday. Still hafto buy everything on up well except for motor trans & transfer.....what kind of drive shafts do u run? Flange or yoke?
